The New India Assurance Overseas Travel Ease Policy offers comprehensive coverage for individuals traveling abroad for business or holiday purposes. The policy offers three different plans with varying coverage levels and geographical areas, including options for frequent corporate travelers and executives.

Key features:

• Coverage for medical expenses, repatriation expenses, loss of checked baggage, delay of checked baggage, loss of passport, and personal liability.

• Plans with varying coverage levels (USD 50,000 to USD 500,000) and geographical areas (worldwide excluding USA/Canada or worldwide including USA/Canada).

• Eligibility: Individuals aged 6 months and above up to 70 years.

• Policy must be taken prior to departure from India.

• Medical reports may be required for trips over 60 days or if the insured has pre-existing health conditions.

• Corporate Frequent Traveler (CFT) cover is available for executives and partners with a maximum trip duration of 60 days.

• Initially, coverage is provided for up to 180 days, extendable for another 180 days with a declaration of good health.

Major exclusions:

• All pre-existing diseases/illnesses are not covered (known and unknown).

• Traveling against medical advice or for medical treatment, including routine check-ups.

• The first USD 100 of all claims is to be borne by the traveler (deductible).
