Requirements:

• Valuation by a qualified veterinary doctor

• Fitness certificate including details like age, gender, breed, and identification marks

• Identification by tattooing, nose print, or photographs

• Municipal corporation certificate

Major exclusions:

• Malicious injury, neglect, unskillful treatment

• Intentional slaughter

• Theft and clandestine sale

• War and allied perils

• Nuclear perils

• Consequential loss

• Transport by air and sea

• Diseases contracted within 15 days of commencement
